I'm So Lonely I Could Cry
This week's Vinyl Cheese of the Week is dedicated to
Chad's roommate Jeff, being the huge Terry Bradshaw
*lover* that he is. This weeks Cheese is Terry Bradshaw's
bewildering 1976 recording, I'm So Lonesome I Could Cry.
Yep, Terry Bradshaw, hall of fame quarterback, sports
commentator, 70s icon, movie and television star, short lived talk
show host, cigar lover and even a country singer. Is there no end
to this man's talent? Pondering the album cover, front and back, only
one question can spring to mind...how could such a style aficionado,
rico suave bad-boy and all around stud-muffin be so lonely? The songs
include a well-rounded mix of Hank Williams, Roger Miller , Dottie
West and other favorites from a bunch of other country performers
we've never heard of. Aaawww ... Super.
Quote
from Terry Bradshaw:
"I'm
trying hard. I'm comfortable and I'm having fun. But I can't make
people like me."
Straight
from the horse's mouth. But, why should we convince you?
Without
further ado, we bring you The Last
Word in Lonesome is Me.
P.S.
Check out the groovy belt and shiny Superbowl Ring.
